Jason Arne Lien
"The Brave and Free"

Gallery 63 Eleven is pleased to welcome Jason Arne Lien in his first one man show, with the gallery.

"Celebrated Seattle Artist Jason Arne Lien has joined Gallery 63 Eleven for an exhibition of his newest body of work, "The Brave and Free.", The works are an examination of the value of personal influence on the greater whole of humanity. Ballard's most prestigious art venue, Gallery 63eleven, joins Lien in presenting this collection of over 25 works celebrating the power of the individual, and the spiritual significance of shared experience. Featured will be an assortment of Lien's landscapes, intimate narratives, and a sculpture series intitled "War Clubs" that graphically depicts major points of conflict between idologically adverse Americans.
In order to draw attention to the tragedy of the Iraq War, a portion of the proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to the Seattle branch of Iraq Veterans Against the War. More information can be found about IVAW at: www.ivaw.org

Jason Arne Lienwill be at the gallery 11:00 to 5:00 Saturday the 17th and Saturday the 24th of this month. He will be there to discuss his art and show a video which illustrates the efforts of the group of vets involved in the Veterans
Against the Iraq War, to help soldiers and those there in Iraq by the
continuing war.
